Our Story
Silent Harbor Tactical was founded in 2025 by Mitchell in Marquette, Michigan — right in the heart of the Upper Peninsula.
As a Veteran and certified security specialist and defensive designated marksman, Mitchell has spent years working with firearms professionally — learning what performs, what holds up, and what isn’t worth your money. He saw a gap in the UP: there wasn’t a local shop that combined that kind of hands-on expertise with the product selection and service that serious shooters, hunters, and outdoorsmen actually need. So he built one.
In March 2026, we’re opening a physical storefront in Marquette to bring the full experience to the UP — hands-on shopping, professional gunsmithing, and custom firearm builds.
